Arisa is the girl behind the creation of Secrets of Iris. That's me. I am the creator of this site, as well the creator of the Whale Whisker Network. I also own the Amethyst, a shrine dedicated especially to Cid Highwind. As you can see, I hold the Final Fantasy VII story close to my heart, and I have since the first day I watched my brother play this game, back when I was only six years old, nine years ago. I love all of the FF games and have played every single one, aside from III, IV, XI, and Tactics Advance. Still, I love the series as well as other games such as the Legend of Zelda and many others. I also have a strong interest in mangas.

WHY?
So why exactly did I make a shrine to Aeris and Cloud? Let's face it. I love this couple. For eight years, I adored them and their story. It's a beautiful story, indeed, and it makes me cry every time I play the game. I wanted to make a shrine for them for several reasons. For one, I've been planning to make them a shrine for about a year since I first had plans for a domain. And second, Final Fantasy is my favorite game series ever, yet I don't have a single shrine for any character. How dumb can I be?

So then, I decided to make a shrine for a character from my favorite game, which happens to be Final Fantasy VII. And when I couldn't choose one character, I decided to just make one for my favorite couple. There's a few other CxA shrines out there, already. But I still decided to make one on my own. Besides that, I have always had many thoughts and opinions on Aeris and Cloud's story that I always wanted to let out. And the best place to say them was in my own shrine. So there you have it, folks.

And if you've read this whole thing (were you bored or what?), and still don't understand my reasons, then go eat a pickle.

HISTORY
Can you believe this dumb shrine took me a year to finish!? Well, not exactly, but close enough. You see, it's been a year since I first made plans to make Whale Whisker, and when I first started my plans for it, I first decided to make a Final Fantasy shrine. And that's when I decided on Aeris and Cloud. So I made a layout for it and everything. And then I even started on the content. And I was halfway done too (Okay, less than that, but whatever). But this was done in July of 2004. I got my domain in January of 2005.

So when I got my domain, I said I'd get out my cd with the content of my Aeris and Cloud shrine. But then guess what? I couldn't find the stupid thing! Can you believe it!? All my hardwork disappeared! I went crazy! And because I'm a lazy person, I just decided to forget it and not make the shrine. And that was it.

But then at around the beginning of June of 2005, I was looking at updates and news on Advent Children, and that's when I realized, I missed Final Fantasy VII like crazy and even felt like playing it again (but I couldn't find my stupid memory cards. bah!). That's when I remembered about my shrine plans, and decided, "what the heck?" So I went ahead and started my plans all over again.

I made a brand, spanking new layout and edited the title a bit (It was originally just named "Iris"). And I spent four full days writing the content like crazy. So there you have it. I finally finished my site and it's all done. It's a really happy thought that I finally made this thing. It's been a year since it was first planned, but now it's all in the open. And I'm really happy about it. Yay! =3

Just so you know, it's date of birth is June 4, 2005. Hehe.
